We are so happy you are here!

Hello! I am your current PTO President! Outside of the PTO, I am a Registered Dental Hygienist, a Girl Scout Troop Leader, and I also started subbing in the district 3 years ago. I have an 8-year-old daughter and a 4-year-old-son. My family loves to spend as much time as possible on our boat in the summer or adventuring to different places in our camper. This will be my 5th year being a part of the Waretown PTO Board and I look forward to all the fun things we have planned for our students, families, and staff! For all PTO related information/questions/concerns please email me at: waretownpto@gmail.com

Hello! If you’ve been to a PTO meeting, you’ve probably seen me jotting away—I’m the one making sure our minutes are accurate and our agendas are ready so we can stay on track! Before I traded in my lab coat for life’s greatest adventure—raising a family—I worked as a research scientist. Now, I’m a happily married, devoted stay-at-home mom to four amazing kids: Amelia (9, entering fourth grade), Adeline (6, entering first grade), Scotty (4), and Ariana (1½). When I’m not organizing PTO notes, you can usually find me out and about with my crew—hiking, fishing, boating to the beach, gardening, biking, or cheering from the sidelines at my kids’ sporting events. I also love curling up with a good book, experimenting in the kitchen with cooking and baking, and making every day with my family an adventure. I’m so excited to serve as PTO Secretary this year and to bring my energy, organization, and heart to our school community! Email: waretownpto@gmail.com

Hi! I'm one of the many town twin moms, PTO treasurer, fundraising coordinator, and Girl Scout co-leader who somehow still finds time to work as a travel agent from home- specializing in family vacations full of fun and zero stress (yes, it’s possible!). When I’m not juggling work, PTO events or cookie booths, we’re off chasing adventures. Whether it's camping, cruising, squeezing in one more Disney trip, exploring a new state, or riding every coaster at a theme park. We’re always up for something new! On weekends, from spring to fall you’ll probably find me trackside with snacks in hand, cheering on my husband at New Egypt Speedway. Life’s a bit of a whirlwind, but I wouldn’t have it any other way!

Hello! I am proud to serve as one of the Programs Coordinators for the PTO. In this role, I assist in planning and organizing special events such as the Halloween Dance, Candy Bingo, and the Daddy/Daughter Dance. It’s a true privilege to help create lasting memories for our Waretown families through these meaningful experiences. A bit about me: I’m a proud mom of three wonderful sons—Aiden (9th grade at SRHS), Christian (8th grade at SRMS), and Matteo (3rd grade). I’m a former early childhood educator and currently work as a Child Developmental Specialist for Early Intervention, as well as a private tutor. Outside of work and volunteering, I enjoy spending quality time with my boys—traveling, hiking, playing games, and cheering them on in their passions, whether on the field or on stage. I hope to meet many of you at our PTO events throughout the year! For any questions or concerns please email: waretownptoprograms@gmail.com

Hello! My name is Tara Matias, and I am one of the Programs Coordinators for the PTO. Hi! I’m excited to serve as the Communications Chair for our PTO. My role is to keep our school community informed by sharing event updates, volunteer opportunities, and important news with parents and teachers. I believe strong communication helps bring us all together, and I’m here to make sure you never miss a beat! A little about me: I’m originally from Staten Island but have called Waretown home since 2018. I’m a proud mom of three amazing kids. Our family is very involved in the football world—my son plays, and my husband coaches high school football, so fall is always a busy and exciting time for us! When I’m not at a game or school event, you’ll probably find me in the kitchen—I love to cook! I’m looking forward to a great year and to connecting with all of you!
